The Friends of Stinson Library express appreciation to the community for an eventful ColorFest, especially to:

 Anna First Baptist Church, Ameren-CIPS, Marilyn Keller and committee, Russell Davis, Kurt Petrich, Library staff, Volunteers of Friends, The Gazette-Democrat, Anna State Bank, First National Bank-Jonesboro, Anna Chamber of Commerce, WIBH, Southern Illinoisan, Magic 95.1, Vendors, Participating Businesses, Juanita Heisner, Tim Stokes, Ed Fravell, Cathie Hutcheson, Lew Hendrix, Toby Merriman, Tony Fontana, and Untimely Perfection. 

Winners of the ColorFest raffle were Willard Cunningham of Anna, a gift bag, and Linda Lence of Anna, a Stinson Library wooden plaque handcrafted by Juanita Heisner.

New books available at the library include “R is for Ricochet” by Sue Grafton, “American Soldier” by Tommy Franks, “Just David” by Elenor Porter and “Rosie the Riveter” by Penny Colman. 

The Friends of Stinson Plan to meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 2nd, at the library.  Topics on the agenda include finalizing the book in every home project for December and creation of a newsletter.
