The Friends of Stinson Library Book in Every Home Project for December donated 140 books to Lick Creek School, 100 books to Anna Heat Start, 30 books to Rural Health in Anna and 20 books to Swafford Pediatrics in Anna.

The Book in Every Home Project has been a yearly event since December 2002, with a total of 1,140 books donated.

Appreciation is voiced to library director Lisa Livesay for assistance with the project and to the community for its support.

Books were donated from the fall book sale to the Tamms Correctional Center.  A plan to donated books to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion is scheduled for January 2005.

The Friends of Stinson Library plan to meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 4th, at the library.
