During the holiday season and throughout the year, the library welcomes book donations in memory of, or in honor of, a family member or friend. Memorial books will display an inscription plate in the front of the book. For more information, contact librarian Lisa Livesay at 833-2521.
Gifts available from the library include tote bags, note cards, t-shirts, sweatshirts, $1 paperbacks and $3 hardbacks.
The latest best-sellers available at the library are “Light From Heaven” by Jan Karon, “Ordinary Heroes” by Scott Turow, “The Camel Club” by David Baldacci and “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln” by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
Young readers titles include “Private Peaceful” by Michael Morpurgo and “Runt” by Marion Dane Bauer.
The Friends of Stinson Library plan to meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, at the library.
