The Friends of Stinson Library Book in Every Home Project for February donated 278 books to Cobden Elementary School, 166 books to Shawnee Elementary North school in Grand Tower and 123 books to Shawnee Elementary South school in McClure. A total of 1,707 books have been donated since the project began in December 2002. New large print books available at the library include "The Broker" by John Grisham and "Nights of Rain and Starts" by Maeve Binchy. New children's books include "Nobody's Diggier Than a Dog" by Susan Campbell Bartoletti and "Grils in Pants" by Ann Brashares. New adult books include "A Thread of Grace" by Mary Doria Russell and "Come Spring" by Tim LaHaye. The Friends of Stinson Library plan to meet at 10:30a.m. Tuesday, March 1st, at the library. Topics on the agenda include finalizing plans for the Union County Business Expo, which is scheduled for March 19th at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School.
