Stinson Library plans to have a display at the 2005 Union County Business Expo,
which is planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Anna-Jonesboro
Community High School. A raffle is planned, along with prizes for children.
Information about the library will be available.
New adult books available at the library include “Whiteout” by Ken Follett,
“Black Wind” by Clive Cussler, “Honeymoon” by James Patterson, “Digging James
Dean” by Robert Eversz and “Spices of Life” by Nina Simonds.
New children’s books include “Belinda in Paris” by Amy Young, “Nobody’s Nosier
Than a Cat” by Susan Campbell Bartoletti and “Bear Stays Up for Christmas” by
Karma Wilson.
The Friends of Stinson Library plan to meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, at
the library. Topics on the agenda include plans for a spring book sale, which is
scheduled for May 14.
