Make plans to attend the Stinson Library ColorFest celebration Saturday, October 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Activities will include a flea market, antiques, a book sale, crafts, jewelry, food and music. The latest bestsellers available at the library include “Until I Find You” by John Irving, “The Historian” by Elizabeth Kostova and “Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking” by Malcolm Gladwell. New books for young readers include “Hoot” by Carl Hiaasen, “Coming On Home Soon” by Jacqueline Woodson and “The Red Book” by Barbara Lehman. The Friends of Stinson plan to meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 6 at the library in Anna. Topics on the agenda include finalizing plans for ColorFest, the book in every home project, continued donations of new books to the library and other library improvements.
