The Friends of Stinson Library Book in Every Home project for December donated 142 books to Anna Head Start, 50 books to Rural Health in Anna and 358 books to Union County pre-kindergarten in Jonesboro.  Union County pre-kindergarten includes these schools:  Alto Pass, Anna, Cobden, Dongola, Grand Tower, Jonesboro, Lick Creek, McClure and Wolf Lake.  

The Book in Every Home project has been an annual event since December 2002.  A total of 3,211 books have been donated. 

Appreciation is voiced to library director Lisa Livesay and library employee Kurt Petrich for assistance with the project and to the community for its support. 

The Friends of Stinson Library plan to meet Tuesday, January 2.  The meeting will be at 10:30 a.m. at the library.
