Stinson Library and The Friends of Stinson Library voice their appreciation to The Gazette Democrat, Geof Skinner, WIBH radio, Jonesboro First National Bank in Anna, The Southern Illinoisan, Ruann Keller, Martha Ann Webb and participating businesses for advertising the May 13 book sale. Appreciation also is voiced to those who donated books, volunteered and support the book sales each year. The latest bestsellers available at the library include “Mayflower” by Nathaniel Philbrick, “Promise Me” by Harlan Coben, “Susannah’s Garden” by Debbie Macomber and “Beach Road” by James Patterson. Young reader’s titles include “The City of Ember” by Jeanne DuPrau and “The Hello, Goodbye Window” by Norton Juster. The Friends of Stinson Library plan to meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 6 at the library.
