Recent accomplishments of The Friends of Stinson Library include a donation of tables and chairs to the library and a donation to the summer reading program. The latest bestsellers available at the library include “Godless: the church of liberalism” by Ann Coulter, “Clemente: the passion and grace of baseball’s last hero” by David Maraniss, “Dead Water” by John Sandford, “The Husband” by Dean Koontz, and “At Risk” by Patricia Cornwell. Children’s titles include “Rosa” by Nikki Giovanni, and “Zen Shorts” by Jon J. Muth. The Friends of Stinson plan to meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, at the library. An annual meeting is planned at noon.
