Access to the Shawnee Library System The Shawnee Library System is a multitype system including school districts, public libraries, special libraries, and academic libraries. This diversity of members brings a rich and full body of experience from which all members benefit.
The Board of Trustees of the Stinson Memorial Library District offers the use of the facilities to any group of citizens within the area for cultural, educational, or civic purposes, provided that such meetings be open to the general public.
Internet access We have four computers available for public use. There is no charge for use of the computers or Internet, but printing is 10cents per page.
Magazines We have subscriptions to 25 magazines. A few examples are Time, U.S. News & World Report, Architectural Digest, and National Geographic. FirstSearch also offer thousands of articles, many full text. The branch libraries do not have magazines, but they do have all the articles available online. If you need an article or a magazine, please stop by or give us a call so we can help you.
NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 120,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature Articles.
