Union County Writers Group will host a Writers Fair at Sinson Library Oct. 8, 9 - 4, with writing workshops, story telling, poetry reading, young authors writing contest, and presentations and sales by local authors. Featured authors include Lois Barrett, Sue Glasco, Violet Toler, Brooks Kohler, Linda Kall, The Waterman and Hill-Traveller's Companion, Pat Evans, Jennine Schaefer, Yvonne Alderman, and Joanne Blakley.
Keynote speaker will be Joe Neil Steward, who grew up on a farm outside of Anna, was an award-winning actor for 20 years, and now lives in Louisville, TN. He is the author of 6 novels which are available on CD and include Life Tain't Nawthin but Wind (about growing up in Southern Illinois in the 50's.)
