About Jeanine M. Schaefer

Jeanine M. Schaefer, born December 22, 1966 in Wolf Lake, Illinois, was both a birthday gift and Christmas gift. Her grandmother Lena’s birthday is December 22, 1907. Her father, Eugene, called her grandmother to wish her a happy birthday and said, “Oh, by the way, you have a new granddaughter.”

As time went by, moving from Wolf Lake to Saratoga, then to Anna, Jeanine found it difficult to make friends. And so she turned to writing. Poetry became her way to share her heart with others.

Today she writes for joy, pleasure, passion, and satisfaction. She shares her hope for a better world and a special gift yet to be given to her, created by God.
