About Patricia A. Evans

Patricia  is a lifelong resident of Illinois.  Born in Chicago in November of 1946.  Pat , as she is known to her friends, has experienced both the city and the rural life that makes up the state.  Currently she resides in Johnson County in the town of Buncombe.  Pat loves to travel and is an avid reader.  Being a Christian, and a follower of Jesus Christ, is reflected in many of her poems.  She loves poetry and collects old volumes of poetry.
She enjoys writing poems, essays, and all forms of children's writing.  Pat is excited to be a member of UCWG.  She says, "It is great to be around other writers and to share experiences and works."
