Yvonne Alderman, Ph.D. in English, taught English and creative writing for about 20 years at Virginia Western Community College and also served as adjunct professor at Hollins University.
Yvonne started writing as a small child and has written ever since. She won third place in the novel category at the Writing Festival in Abingdon, Virginia and has had a few poems published in university press publications. She has written a novel, a novella, a few short stories, children’s stories, and poems. She considers herself a storyteller, perhaps because she comes from the Blue Ridge Mountains where story telling is a part of every day life.
